Hill of Crosses, a site of pilgrimage. The 1st crosses were placed in the 1800s and currently there are 100,000+ crosses on the hill. Pope John Paul II visited the site in 1993 and declared it a place for hope, peace, love, and sacrifice.

Honey beer and Lithuanian cepeniniai (potato dough dumplings with meat).

Honey beer, water, and milk were the main beverages consumed among the Balts in ancient times.

Cepeniniai is the national dish in Lithuania. They call it “dumpling” but it looks and tastes sort of like Chinese zongzi.
